Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a fast-food shop at Carlingford last night.
About 10.50pm (Wednesday 11 April 2012), three men entered the store on Pennant Hills Road armed with a firearm and knife.
The men threatened the two employees inside the store before assaulting one of them.
The men took an amount of cash and personal property and fled the scene on foot.
Police were subsequently contacted and immediately attended the premise establishing a crime scene which was examined by officers from the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit.
Detectives from Rosehill Local Area Command are investigating the robbery and are looking for the three men.
The first man is described as being 180cm tall with a slim build wearing long pants, a dark coloured long-sleeve shirt and balaclava. He was carrying a firearm.
The second man is described as being 185cm tall with a solid build wearing a dark coloured long-sleeve shirt and pants and a balaclava. He was carrying a knife.
There is no description of the third man.
