Police are investigating following an armed robbery at Seven Hills in Sydney’s West early this morning.
About 12.50am today (Thursday 12 April 2012) two men entered a fast-food shop on Abbott Road, Seven Hills armed with a firearm.
The men allegedly threatened the employee inside the store before stealing an amount of cash and fleeing the scene on foot.
Police were subsequently contacted and immediately attended the premise establishing a crime scene which was examined by officers from the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit.
Detectives from Blacktown Local Area Command are investigating the robbery and are looking for the two men.
The first man is described as being 180-185cm tall with a medium build, wearing a black jumper and black track pants with a black cloth concealing his face.
The other man is described as being 160-165cm tall with a slim build, wearing a black jumper and black track pants with a white cloth concealing his face.
Police believe the men may be of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern background as they were overheard speaking in a foreign language.
They were last seen running west along Abbott Road before running into Monaro Street and out of sight.
