12 April 2012 – Armed Robbery – Taxi Driver – Yeronga

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a taxi driver in Yeronga late last night.
Around 10:45pm, the taxi was parked at a taxi rank on Devon Street when a man opened the front passenger door and produced a knife.
The man threatened the male taxi driver before fleeing the scene with his wallet and a sum of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
The offender is described as being in his early 20s, having an olive complexion, approximately 180cm tall with a proportionate build and dark hair.
He was wearing a grey hoodie with a dark t-shirt underneath and dark long pants.
