At 9.45pm a man and woman at an alfresco restaurant on Martha Street, Camp Hill were approached by two men, one which snatched the woman’s handbag from the ground beside the table.

The man gave chase to the offenders, who ran into Combles Street to two waiting vehicles, but was then assaulted by the men who then fled the scene in the vehicles.

The man received minor facial injuries.
