Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a retail store in Williamstown last Saturday
Investigators have been told a man and woman entered the store on Ferguson Street around 4.30pm.
It is believed the man was armed with a wrench and demanded the victim get on the ground before stealing cash and the cash register drawer.
The offenders then fled the scene and were last seen running across Ferguson Street, towards MacLean Street.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, 180cm tall with a medium to solid build.
He was wearing a dark hooded top, gloves and covered his face with clothing.
The woman is described as being Caucasian, with blonde hair, 165cm tall and a medium build.
She was wearing a beanie, hooded top, jeans and also covered her face with her clothing.
