30 June 2012 – Glassing – Licensed Premises – Neutral Bay

A man has been charged after allegedly glassing another man in Neutral Bay overnight.

About 12.20am, an altercation took place between a 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man at the licensed premises on Military Road.

During the altercation, the 24-year-old man allegedly smashed a schooner glass on the other man’s face, causing serious lacerations.

Both men were escorted from the premises and both men were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment to injuries.

The 24-year-old Mosman man was then taken to North Sydney Police Station where he was charged with malicious wounding. He was granted conditional bail to appear at North Sydney Local Court on 25 July 2012.

The victim remains in hospital, where he may require surgery for his injuries.
