Police have charged a man following investigations into a large scale fraud in Sydney’s inner-west.

It will be alleged a 31-year-old man, who worked for an electronics business in Drummoyne, pocketed in excess of $150,000 while working for the company.

Investigations by Burwood Police revealed the man allegedly provided clients with his own personal banking details receiving payment for products.

The man then allegedly kept the money defrauding his employer of more than $150,000.

Yesterday morning (Thursday 5 July 2012), police arrested the man at his home address.

He was taken to Maroubra Police Station and charged with 73 fraud offences including embezzlement, make and use false document and dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
