10 July 2012 – Glassing – Hotel – International Passenger Terminal – Mascot

A woman has been arrested after allegedly glassing a police officer in The Rocks overnight.

Just after 10pm (Monday 9 July 2012), police from The Rocks Local Area Command attended a hotel at the International Passenger Terminal following reports of a woman refusing to pay for drinks.

Upon arrival police located a 31-year-old woman who became argumentative and aggressive towards police.

Police will allege the woman struck a male police officer with a wine glass to his face causing cuts near his eye which required hospital treatment.

 

She was arrested and taken to The Rocks Police Station where she is assisting police with their inquiries.
