Police are searching for three men following an armed robbery at a West Meadows gaming venue last night.
The incident happened at 10.23pm, when three men smashed a double glass door leading into the gaming room of the Ardlie Street tavern.
The men, who were wearing balaclavas or similar, were armed, one with a firearm and the other two with a baseball bat and an axe.
Six patrons, who were in the room at the time of the robbery, were threatened and made to hand over their wallets and handbags.
The robbers were also given an amount of money from the till after they threatened a staff member.
While in the venue the men smashed four poker machines, causing approximately $600,000 damage.
The men fled from the venue into the northern car park.
