Police have charged a man for alleged robberies at two service stations and a convenience store in Roseville, Artarmon and North Sydney.

About 7.23pm on Friday 3 August 2012, a man attended a service station on the Pacific Highway at Roseville and put an amount of petrol into the vehicle he was driving.

The man then allegedly entered the store, threatened the male employee and took an amount of cash before leaving the premises without paying for the petrol.

About 5pm yesterday (Saturday 4 August 2012), the same man allegedly attended a service station on the Pacific Highway at Artarmon and again put petrol into his vehicle.

He entered the store, threatened the male employee and demanded an amount of cash.

The man fled the premises without any money however he did not pay for the petrol.

Police will allege he then drove to a convenience store on Walker Street, North Sydney where he threatened the male employee and took an amount of cash before leaving the location.

About 5.50pm yesterday (Saturday 4 August 2012), police from North Shore Local Area Command stopped a vehicle on Victoria Avenue at Chatswood and arrested the 23-year-old male driver.

He was taken to Chatswood Police Station where he was charged with three counts of robbery.

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court later today (Sunday 5 August 2012).
