Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a mixed business at Engadine last night.
About 6.50pm (Saturday 4 August 2012), a man armed with a knife has entered a store on Woronora Road.

He threatened the 64-year-old male employee and demanded cash.

The employee pushed the man who then fled from the store without taking any property.

Police from Sutherland Local Area Command attended the location and established a crime scene which was examined by investigators.

The man has been described as being 18 to 19 years old, 170cm to 175cm tall with an average build. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket, olive/brown Akubra style hat and had a dark coloured scarf covering his face.
