Police are investigating after a bottle shop was robbed at Coorparoo this evening.
Around 7.35pm, a man entered the Bennetts Road store and approached the male store employee.
After a short conversation with the employee, the man produced a knife and made demands for money. The store employee opened the till, and the man reached across and took a sum of money before leaving the store on foot.
He was last seen on Lloyd Street, Camp Hill.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, about 185cm tall with a proportionate build.
At the time of the offence, he was wearing a red and grey flannelette shirt, a high visibility shirt with a fluro yellow top/blue bottom, blue jeans, dark baseball cap, and work boots.
