27 August 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Prospect

A crime scene has been established in Sydney’s west following an armed robbery.
About 4.45pm (Monday 27 August 2012), three males entered a bottle shop on Blacktown Road, Prospect, armed with a firearm.
The offenders threatened a 66-year-old male employee before tying him up and fleeing with cash, alcohol and cigarettes.
Two of the males were seen leaving the area in a small black car, while the other fled on foot.
Police were alerted and detectives from Blacktown Local Area Command are conducting an extensive search of the area with assistance from the Dog Unit.
The attendant was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
