Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a convenience store in Lane Cove overnight.

About 8.10pm (Saturday 15 September 2012), two men entered the store on Longueville Road, Lane Cove, while a third man remained outside.

One of the men produced a knife and demanded money from the cashier.

This man then grabbed cash from the till before all three offenders ran from the area towards Little Lane.

Police attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by forensic officers. A search of the area failed to locate the offenders.

Investigators now wish to speak with three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 19 years old, 180cm tall, and with a thin build. The other two men are described only as being of a similar height.
