Police are investigating the armed robbery of a store on Perth Street in Toowoomba last night.

Initial information suggests that at around 10.30pm, a man has entered a convenience store o Perth Street and has produced a knife.

He made demands for cash, but the attendant has not complied.

The man has then grabbed some toiletry items and left the store and was last seen in foot near Lake Annand Park.

No one was physically injured.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 180cms tall and of a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, blue tracksuit pants, white gloves and had black clothing covering his face.

Police are appealing for anyone who may be able to assist with their investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
