Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Sydney’s north-west.
About 7.45pm Friday (21 September 2012), a man walked into a business on Carpenter Street, Colyton, and threatened the store attendant.
He allegedly produced a firearm before demanding an amount of cash
The 49-year-old male employee fled to the back of the store while the man stole cigarettes before running away.
He was last seen heading north on Bennett Road, toward Shane Street.
A short time later, a white sedan was seen to drive away from the area.
Police attended and established a crime scene which was examined by forensic officers.
They are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
The man is described as of Pacific Islander/Mauri appearance and of medium build.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hoodie jumper and dark tracksuit pants, and his face was concealed.
