Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a business in the State’s Hunter Region.
About 6.50pm Friday (21 September 2012), a man entered the store on Cessnock Road, Weston, armed with a firearm.
He allegedly threatened the store attendant and demanded cash from the register.
The 21-year-old female employee handed the man money from the till before he fled on foot.
Police attended and established a crime scene which was examined by forensic officers.
Investigators are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
The man is described as 170cm tall and of thin build.
At the time of the incident he was wearing an orange and blue shirt, and dark blue pants.
