Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Horsley Park.
About 2.40am on Friday (21 September 2012), a 26-year-old man was working in the business on The Horsley Drive when two males entered, one armed with a gun.
The employee was struck to the face and ordered to hand over money.
He complied before the men fled on foot. They were last seen heading west toward the M7 motorway.
Police were alerted and a crime scene was established.
Officers attached to Fairfield Local Area Command and the Dog Unit canvassed the surrounding area, but the pair were not located.
The shop attendant was treated by paramedics at the scene for concussion before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for observation.
Police are now looking for two males who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
At the time of the incident, the first was wearing a black hooded jacket featuring a white motif and text. He was also carrying a hand gun.
The second was wearing a black hooded jacket.
