2 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Fashion Store – Surfers Paradise

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a fashion store on Surfers Paradise Boulevard this evening.
Around 5.45pm, a man has entered the store and produced a knife.
He has demanded the attendant put a quantity of jewellery and cash in bag.
The attendant has complied, and the man has then left the store on foot with the bag.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as being Indian in appearance, around 178cms tall and of a slim build with short, dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt with white letters, dark pants and dark gloves.
Investigations are continuing.
