Police have released CCTV footage of a number of men they would like to speak to in relation to an armed hold-up in Sydney’s west last month.
About 10pm on Saturday 15 September 2012, four men entered a convenience store on Metella Road, Toongabbie.
The men, armed with a baseball bat, machete and meat clever, threatened the store employee who was able to run away into a back room.
One of the men remained at the entry door as a lookout while the others stole an amount of cash and cigarettes.
The men also damaged areas of the store before fleeing on foot.
Blacktown Detectives have released CCTV of a group of men who might be able to assist with their inquiries into the incident.
The first male depicted in the CCTV is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged about 18 years, of slim build and with medium length blond hair. At the time he was wearing a dark grey hooded jumper and light coloured tracksuit pants.
The second male depicted is of Pacific Islander/Mauri appearance and of solid build. At the time he was wearing a light grey hooded jumper and a red t-shirt.
The third male depicted is of medium build. In the CCTV he is wearing a grey hooded jumper, black long pants and carrying a black and grey backpack.
The fourth male depicted in the CCTV is described as being of medium build. At the time he was wearing black long pants and a grey and black jumper.
