Police are appealing for the public’s help following an armed robbery at a Campbelltown liquor store last night.
Just after 8.15pm, Saturday 13 October 2012, a man armed with a knife entered the Lindesay Street outlet and approached a female employee restocking product in a cool room.
As he threatened the 68-year-old, another staff member – a 57-year-old woman – inadvertently entered the cool room.
Both employees were taken to the cash register where they were ordered to place money into a bag the man was holding.
He then fled on foot, and was last seen heading north along Chamberlain Street.
Police attached to Campbelltown Local Area Command attended a short time later, and a canvass of the surrounding area was conducted.
The man police would now like to speak to is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance and solid build. At the time, he was wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue track pants and white runners.
