21 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Pizza Delivery Driver – Wetherill Park

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pizza delivery driver was robbed at Wetherill Park last night.

About 9:20pm, Saturday 20 October 2012, a pizza delivery driver attended a house in Kilkenny Avenue.

While outside the premises he was approached by two men who grabbed him by the shirt and threatened him with a knife before stealing two pizzas and a sum of cash.

Both men then ran off through a nearby park towards Hinkler Avenue.

The delivery driver was not injured and police were called to the scene.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command and the Dog Unit attended Kilkenny Avenue where they conducted a search of the area locating the discarded pizza boxes nearby.
