14 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Wynnum

Police are investigating after the robbery of a Wynnum bottle shop this afternoon.
Around 4.50pm, a man entered the West Avenue store and demanded money from the 23-year-old male staff member before assaulting him.
The man fled the scene with a sum of cash.
He is described as being in Caucasian in appearance, around 178cm tall and of a solid build with shaved hair.
He was wearing a grey t-shirt with a circular pattern on the upper chest and back, blue jeans and a black belt with studs and white shoes.
The staff member was transported to Redland Hospital with facial injuries.
