15 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Pizza Delivery Driver – Manoora

Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was robbed and assaulted in Manoora last night.

Preliminary information suggests around 10.30pm, the 37-year-old Cairns North man was approached by two other men in Conlan Close and assaulted.

The men then fled the scene with items belonging to the victim, including a mobile phone, keys and wallet.

The 37-year-old is currently in Cairns Base Hospital with head injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
