A crime scene has been established at a convenience store in Sydney’s south following an armed robbery.
Just after 1am (Wednesday 24 October 2012), two males entered the store on Penshurst Road, Narwee, with their faces concealed and armed with a knife.
The offenders threatened a male store attendant with the knife, demanding money from the register.
They fled without cash but stole an amount of confectionery.
Police were alerted and officers from Campsie Local Area Command attended, established a crime scene and are conducting a canvass of the area with assistance from the Dog Unit.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or any suspicious or unusual behaviour in the area, should call Campsie Police or Crime Stoppers.
