Police are investigating an incident that occurred at 6pm on Thursday 9 June when a motorist travelling alone on Port Wakefield Road, Bolivar was robbed at knife point in her car.

 The victim was travelling north on Port Wakefield Road before stopping at the junction with Bolivar Road, Bolivar.

Two suspects then entered the victim’s vehicle by opening the passenger side door and produced a knife, threatening the victim and demanding money. 

The victim was not injured but a quantity of money was taken.

The first offender is described as female Caucasian, aged about 18 years of thin build.  She was wearing a black woollen beanie and black bomber jacket with the letter ‘J’ embroidered on the chest. 

The second offender is described as female with olive skin, aged about 18 years of heavy build.  She was also wearing a black beanie and black jacket.

“As a security measure I recommend people consider locking their doors when driving, especially at night and when alone,” said Officer in Charge of the Elizabeth Local Service Area Superintendent David O’Donovan said
