Detectives are appealing for public information following an armed robbery in Wollongong overnight.

Just after 11.10pm (Monday 18 February 2019), three men armed with knives entered a service station on Crown Street, Wollongong.

The trio threatened an employee before stealing cash and fleeing the area.

They were last seen heading toward Woodlawn Avenue.

Officers from Wollongong Police District were contacted and with assistance from the Dog Unit, conducted an extensive search of the area, however the men were not located.

A crime scene was established, and police are appealing for anyone with information, or who may have dashcam footage from the area, to come forward.

The men have been described as wearing a red-hooded jumper, a dark-blue hooded-jumper and a light-blue hooded jumper. All three had their face and hands covered.

Inquiries are continuing.

A man has faced court charged over the alleged armed robbery of a man at South Tamworth earlier this week.

About 3.30pm on Tuesday (12 February 2019), a 35-year man had used an ATM at a shopping centre on Robert Street when he was confronted by a man armed with a knife.

It’s alleged the man was threatened and robbed of his cash before the armed man fled.

Officers from Oxley Police District were notified and launched an investigation.

Following inquiries, investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Central Avenue, Tamworth, on Friday (15 February 2019).

An 18-year-old man was located asleep inside and arrested.

He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon, and armed with intent commit indictable offence

The Tamworth man appeared in Tamworth Local Court today (Saturday 16 February 2019) and was refused bail to appear at the same court on Monday (18 February 2019).

Police have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery in Salisbury overnight.

It will be alleged at around 6:15pm a man entered a convenience store on Toohey Road and obtained a knife from a section of the store, before demanding cash from a male staff member.

The staff member complied, handing over a sum of cash before the man fled the store on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers attended the scene and conducted patrols of the area before taking a man into custody at a nearby licensed venue.

A 22-year-old Coorparoo man has been charged with armed robbery and possessing a knife in a public place.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

Police have arrested six people following investigations into a series of armed robberies in Brisbane and Logan in the past week.

It will be alleged a group were involved in armed robberies at a service stations in Underwood last night and at another in Slacks Creek on February 11.

It will further be alleged a woman had her car stolen at knifepoint on Endsleigh Street in MacGregor on February 11.

Just before midnight, two men and three teens were arrested after the alleged stolen car crashed on Brisbane Road at Coombabah.

The 25-year-old male driver and an 18-year-old Crestmead man were both injured and transported to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

Three boys, a 14-year-old from Bethania, a 15-year-old from Runcorn and a 15-year-old from Rochedale have all been charged with armed robbery in company in relation to the alleged Underwood robbery.

The 15-year-old Rochedale boy has also been charged with two additional charges of armed robbery and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle relating to the incidents at Slacks Creek and Macgregor.

A 17-year-old Rochedale boy was also charged overnight with one count each of armed robbery (relating to the Slacks Creek incident), unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possessing drug utensils.

They will be dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

Detectives are continuing their investigations into an armed robbery of a Windaroo service station February 7 in which they believe the above males may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Investigators have also released CCTV of the Slacks Creek incident as they continue to search for the third person involved.

Officers were called to a service station on Logan Road at 11pm after four men entered the business.

One of the men was armed with a knife and the group then stole a sum of cas and a quantity of cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

Police are investigating after a bottle shop was robbed in Currumbin Waters yesterday.

Officers were called to the Bienvenue Drive store shortly after 7.30pm following reports that a person had entered the store and produced a firearm.

The person made demands before fleeing the scene on foot with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. The person was was seen entering a small white car.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

The person is described as Caucasian in appearance and around 170cm tall and was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing and a black balaclava.

Investigations are continuing.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight at a service station in Slacks Creek.

Around 11.20pm, three men entered a service station on the Pacific Motorway and two of them produced knifes.

They made demands for cash and cigarettes and when the attendant complied, they fled the scene with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

Police believe that this robbery is linked to a robbery that occurred at a service station in Windaroo on February 7.

Police are investigating after three males robbed a service station at Windaroo overnight.

A 11.40pm three males entered the Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road business and threatened the attendant with a star picket and a piece of wood, demanding cash.

They left with a sum of cash and were last seen running on Bannockburn Road.

The three males are described as medium build, 175cm tall and wearing dark clothing.

Investigations are conitnnuing.

Police are investigating a robbery which occurred overnight at Gepps Cross.

Just before 11.30pm on Thursday 14 February, two men entered the drive-in on Main North Road and approached a staff member in the ticket box and demanded cash. No weapons were sighted and the pair left with an amount of cash in a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Commodore.

The first suspect is described as being Caucasian, aged in his 30’s, medium build, about 175cm tall and wearing a balaclava, a long sleeve dark hooded jumper with a white stripe down the arm and sleeve and long dark pants.

His accomplice is described as being Caucasian, also aged in his 30’s, medium build, about 170cm tall with a cloth partially covering his face. He was wearing a light coloured long sleeve hooded jumper and black shorts.

Police are currently at the scene of a robbery at Marleston.

Just after 7.30am on Tuesday 12 February, a man entered a recycling business on Grove Avenue and demanded cash.

No weapons were sighted and the suspect left with an amount of cash.

He is described as wearing a dark hooded top and dark track pants. The victim was not physically injured.
