Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning in Coopers Plains.
Shortly after 5am, a man entered a service station on Orange Grove Road armed with what is believed to be a handgun.
He made demands from the attendant, who has complied, and the man then fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his 30s and around 190cms tall with a slim build and brown hair.
He was last seen wearing dark shorts, a dark coloured jacket and dark shoes.
Investigations are continuing.

Police were called to a service station on Rosemary Street around 8.50pm following reports of an armed robbery.
Initial information suggests that a man has entered the business and produced a knife before demanding cash from the attendant.
The man has then grabbed a sum of money from the till before fleeing on foot along Begonia Street.
The female attendant didn’t suffer any physical injuries as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 175cms tall and had a solid build.

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred this evening in Kingston.
Initial information suggests that a man has entered a service station on Kingston Road around 7.25pm, produced a knife and walked behind the counter.
He made demands for cash from the male attendant behind the counter, and another male employee has then grabbed the man from behind and a struggle ensued.
The man has then left the business before coming back and making the same demand again, and when the two attendants haven’t complied he fled the scene on foot.
No one was injured and nothing was taken as a result.

Around 10.50pm, a man has walked into a service station on Henry Street and produced a knife.
He demanded money and cigarettes from the attendant, who has complied and handed him a sum of cash and cigarettes.
The man has then fled the scene and was last seen on foot heading towards Drayton Street.
The female attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his early 20s with scars on his face and an eyebrow ring.
Four people have been charged following investigations into three armed robberies at businesses in Townsville over the weekend.
It will be alleged around 2.20am on Saturday, staff at a service station on Charters Towers Road at Hermit Park were threatened by a man with a knife before cash was stolen.
Around 9.30pm on the same day, two men allegedly threatened an employee with a knife at a service station on Ross River Road at Cranbrook. They allegedly fled the scene with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
It will further be alleged a knife was used during an armed robbery at a bottle shop on Railway Avenue at Railway Estate around 4pm yesterday. A sum of cash and a quantity of alcohol was allegedly stolen during the incident.
Around 5.30pm police located a vehicle at the intersection of Ninth Street and Tenth Avenue at Railway Estate after it had allegedly failed to stop for police at Hermit Park a short time earlier. Officers arrested four people nearby.
An 18-year-old Hermit Park man was charged with two counts each of armed robbery and possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop and driving without a licence.
An 18-year-old Hermit Park man was charged with three counts of armed robbery.
A 17-year-old Kelso man was charged with one count of armed robbery.
The three men are due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court today.
A 16-year-old Douglas girl has been charged with one count of armed robbery and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1994.
Police are investigating after a Cranbrook service station was robbed last night.
Around 9.30pm two men, one armed with a knife, entered the Ross River Road business and threatened the male console operator demanding money.
After taking money and cigarettes the two men left the service station and were last seen heading west on Ross River Road.
The console operator was not physically harmed.
The first man is described as Caucasian, 170cm tall and of average build.
The second man is described as Caucasian, 165cm tall and of slim build.
Police are appealing for information after a service station was robbed at Pagewood last night.
About 9.30pm (Sunday 14 September 2014), a man in a black hooded jumper entered the service station on Bunnerong Road armed with a knife and threatened the male attendant, demanding cash.
The attendant complied and the man left with cigarettes and money.
Police from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command were called to the station and established a crime scene.
No further description of the man is available.

About 2.30am (Tuesday 9 September 2014) police were called to the corner of Smithfield Road and Myrtle Street, Prairiewood.
They have been told a man, armed with an iron bar, smashed at the main entry doors and demanded money from the console operator who complied.
The man ran from the location towards Fairfield Showground and was seen to get into a vehicle, described as a dark blue or green Toyota RAV4.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
The man is described as being between 25 to 30-years-old, approximately 190cms tall, Caucasian in appearance with proportionate build with fair skin.
He was last seen wearing a bright red jacket, black jeans and a black balaclava.
Investigations are continuing.
