A Waterford West service station was robbed overnight by a man armed with a knife.
Shortly after midnight the armed man entered the Kingston Road business making demands for money.
The store attendant complied handing over a sum of cash before the man fled on foot.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall, 20 to 30-years-old and with a proportionate build. He was wearing blue pants, a black jacket and a black cap.
Police investigations are continuing.

About 10.40pm (Friday 23 August 2013), a man entered the service station on Sunnyholt Road, and threatened the attendant.
The man demanded cash and the attendant handed it over, and the man ran from the premises.

Police have arrested a 21-year-old man following an aggravated robbery at a BP Service Station in Mitchell Park last night.
Police will allege just before 7pm, two men entered the Marion Road service station and put food items in their bag without paying for them.
When the attendant confronted the pair, one of the men threatened him with a knife before taking off in a car with the stolen items.
After further investigation, police attended a Park Holme address and arrested a 21-year-old Ascot Park man.
He was charged with aggravated robbery and was released on police bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 11 October.

About 9pm yesterday (Thursday 15 August 2013), a man wearing a scarf covering his face and armed with a screwdriver entered the service station on Crown Street.
The man threatened a 38-year-old male cashier, demanding he give him cash.
The cashier complied, and the man fled the premises on foot.
Police from Wollongong Local Area Command attended commencing an investigation, a crime scene was established.
The cashier was not injured during the robbery.
The man is described as medium build, approximately 170cm tall and at the time was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants, white joggers and a black cap.
Detectives would like to speak to any witnesses to the incident that maybe able to assist with their inquiries.
Police are searching for three men who robbed an Ashmore service station at gunpoint overnight.
Around 11.45pm last night the male console operator and two other men were standing outside the Slatyer Avenue premises when they were approached by three other men.
The console operator and the two men he was standing with were forced back inside the service station by the men. One of the offenders produced a handgun and made demands for money.
The offenders obtained an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
No one was injured during the incident.

A man has been charged following the armed robbery of a service station at Seven Hills last week.
It’s alleged about 2.35am on Thursday 1 August 2013, a 29-year-old man armed with a knife entered the petrol station on the Prospect Highway.
The man allegedly threatened staff with the weapon and demanded money.
A number of mobile phones were obtained, but no cash was accessed. The man then fled the scene.
Police were contacted and immediately attended the location establishing a crime scene, which was examined by the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit.
Detectives from Blacktown Local Area Command launched an investigation into the incident and today (Wednesday 7 August 2013), executed a search warrant at a home in Marks Avenue, Seven Hills.
Police seized a number of items from that address and arrested a 29-year-old man.
He was taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon, aggravated break, enter and commit serious indictable offence, and possess prohibited weapon.
The man was refused bail and will appear before Blacktown Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 8 August 2013).
Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a service station in South Nowra overnight.
About 2.50am (Wednesday 8 August 2013), a man entered the store on the Princes Highway armed with a type of axe.
He threatened the 27-year-old male employee and demanded cash. The employee complied and the man ran from the store towards a nearby car park. A motorcycle was heard leaving the area a short time later.
A crime scene has been established and police investigations into the armed robbery are continuing.
The man is described as 175cm tall with a medium build wearing dark green jumper, dark long pants and sneakers. He had his head covered with a white shirt during the incident.
