Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Camden earlier today.
Shortly after 9am (Sunday 20 July 2014), a man entered a pharmacy on Argyle Street and approached two female attendants before demanding medication.
The man was also seen holding a syringe filled with an unknown liquid at the time.
He fled the location a short time later and was last seeing running toward Hill Street.
Officers attached to Camden Local Area Command were alerted and attended a short time later.
A crime scene was established at the location and examined by detectives.
Police also conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area; however the man was not found.
Inquiries into the matter are continuing and detectives would now like to speak to a man who may be able to assist in the investigation.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, with light-coloured hair and of a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured zip-up hooded jumper, dark tracksuit pants with white stripes down the sides, white shoes and his face was partially covered with a bandana. The man was also seen carrying a black backpack with a white design on the back and white stripes on the straps.
Anyone who knows the man’s identity or has any information that could assist police is urged to come forward.
Toowoomba detectives have charged a man in relation to the alleged armed robbery of a Middle Ridge pharmacy yesterday.
A 25-year-old Newtown man has been charged with one count each of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, robbery whilst armed and in company, unlawful
possession of weapons and three counts of deprivation of liberty.
The man is expected to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Investigations into the robbery are continuing and police are seeking public assistance to locate a vehicle believed to have been involved in the robbery.
Police have released images of the vehicle which is described as a Black 2002 Holden Commodore SS, bearing Queensland registration 865SFO. The vehicle has damage to the front and rear.
If the vehicle is seen, members of the public are requested not approach the vehicle or its occupants and are asked to call Crimestoppers or your local police station.

Just before 6pm, three men entered the Spring Street store before one of them produced a weapon resembling a firearm.
They threatened staff members and demanded they handover money and prescription medication.
The employees complied with their demands, and the trio fled the scene with a sum of cash and a quantity of prescription medication.
The men were last seen running along Spring Street, and police believe they then fled the scene in a dark coloured vehicle.
No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police have charged a 27-year-old Cowley Beach woman following the armed robbery of a pharmacy in Parramatta Park yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged that at around 2.25pm, a woman entered a pharmacy on Mulgrave Road produced a knife and demanded drugs from a staff member.
The staff member complied and the woman left on-foot with the drugs.
No physical injuries were sustained as a result of this incident.
The 27-year-old woman was charged with one count each of armed robbery, possession of a dangerous drug and suppling a dangerous drug to minors and is due to appear in Innisfail Magistrates Court today.
Police have charged a man following an armed robbery that occurred Thursday night in Cairns.
A man entered a pharmacy on Grafton Street Cairns around 9.20 carrying a knife. He threatened staff and demanded medication. The attendant has complied and the man exited the store and left the scene in a vehicle.
Police located and took one man into custody a short time later.
The attendant did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the robbery.

Preliminary information indicates that a man, believed to be armed with a firearm, entered the Grandview Drive business around 7.55pm and demanded drugs from a pharmacist.
The man fled in a motor vehicle with a quantity of medication.
The vehicle was spotted by police a short time later in Bucasia Road with the vehicle evading police.

The man, who had his head and face covered by a grey shirt, is described as approximately 180cms tall with a slim build and was wearing a white shirt, dark coloured pants.
