Police have charged a man and a youth after two alleged armed robberies at Minto in the past month.
About 8.30pm on Friday 16 December 2016, two males allegedly armed with a knife and a handgun entered a fast food store on Stonny Batter Road.
It’s alleged the pair threatened the employees and demanded money, before fleeing the location with cash.
About 8.40pm on Tuesday 3 January 2017, two males allegedly armed with a knife and a handgun entered a restaurant on Redfern Road.
Police will allege the pair demanded money before leaving the scene with cash.
Officers from Macquarie Fields commenced an investigation into both incidents and following inquiries a 16-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday 7 January 2017.
He was charged with two counts of robbery while armed with dangerous weapon.
The youth was refused bail to appear at a children’s court on Sunday 8 January 2017 where he was refused bail again to reappear at a children’s court on Monday 16 January 2017.
Following further inquiries, about 3.45pm yesterday (Monday 9 January 2017), a search warrant was executed at a home on Cradle Way, Minto, during which police located and seized a replica pistol and clothing.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at the location and taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery while armed with dangerous weapon.
He was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today (Tuesday 10 January 2017).
Police have appealed for information from the community after an armed robbery at South Kempsey overnight.
About 2.10am today (Monday 9 January 2017), two offenders, one armed with a knife, entered a restaurant and walked behind the counter.
One man grabbed one of the four staff members by the arm, and then by the neck, demanding cash.
The two offenders then removed a quantity of cash and fled from the premises to a white mid 1990s white Toyota Landcruiser 4WD which drove from the area.
The employee suffered discomfort only.
The two male offenders are described as wearing hoodies, gloves and their faces covered.
One man was about 183cm tall with a stocky build and a scar on the right cheek
The second man was 178cm tall, with a slim build, blue eyes and was armed with a knife.
A man has been arrested after an investigation into a robbery that occurred in North Adelaide a week ago.
Police will allege that at about 9pm on Monday 19 December, a man grabbed several handbags from patrons at a café in Childers Street, injuring an elderly woman whose bag he had stolen. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Members of the public followed the man and saw him drive away in a stolen car, and witnesses later passed the car’s details on to police.
The car was stolen during an earlier break-in at a house.
At about 9pm on Saturday 24 December the man was located by police and arrested.
The 32-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with numerous offences including aggravated robbery, aggravated serious criminal trespass, illegal use of a motor vehicle and property damage.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police have been told one man entered the front of the store and threatened employees with a knife and a second man entered the store from the rear entry and threatened employees with a possible hand gun.
The men took cash and then left the premises on foot in an unknown direction.
Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attended the location and established a crime scene at the location.
Police wish to speak to two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 18-20 years old, 163cm tall with a small build. He was last seen wearing a white hooded jacket with black print on the front.
The second man is described as being Pacific Islander/Maori in appearance, 178cm tall with a large build. He was last seen wearing an ash-coloured jacket and a hat.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Inquiries are continuing.

About 9.20pm (Saturday 31 December 2016), emergency services were called to a restaurant on Stockton Avenue, Moorebank, following reports a man had entered the store armed with a firearm.
Police have been told the man threatened the employees and demanded money before firing the weapon once into a wall at the premises.
The man then left the premises on foot in an unknown direction.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants.
Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene at the location.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Inquiries are continuing.
Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Springwood overnight.
Around 12.55am, two men have entered a pizza shop on Fitzgerald Avenue armed with a firearm.
One of the men threatened a female staff member with the firearm while the other climbed over a counter where he assaulted the staff member, demanding property.
The staff member complied with their demands, handing over a sum of money.
Both males were dressed entirely in black with coverings across their faces.
The men were last seen fleeing in a white hatchback.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

Detectives have charged two men following investigations into the alleged armed robbery of a Deception Bay pizza store last month.
It will be alleged the men, one armed with a hammer, entered the store on Bay Avenue around 11pm on October 4.
Police further allege the armed man then jumped the counter and confronted a staff member and made demands for money.
The staff member complied and it will further be alleged the two men left the store on foot with a sum of money.
A 19-year-old Griffin man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is expected to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on Monday, November 28.
An18-year-old Kallangur man has also been charged with one count of armed robbery and is expected to appear in the Redcliffe Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 30.
Officer in Charge of South Moreton Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), Detective Senior Sergeant Ben Fadian, praised the work of officers in making the arrests.
“Nothing is ever routine or ordinary in policing. You never know where a ‘simple enquiry’ will lead, or where a knock on the door will take you.
“The officers did a great job in investigating this case,” Detective Senior Sergeant Fadian said.

Around 10.13pm, two men with their faces covered, entered through the rear of a pizza shop on Gawain Road armed with a firearm and knife.
Once inside they forced the employees to the ground.
The men then stole an unknown quantity of cash before fleeing the store in a vehicle and were last seen heading towards the intersection of Norris Road and Bracken Ridge Road.
The men are described as Caucasian in appearance, with one wearing a black and white long sleeve shirts with blue seams, white shoes and a shirt wrapped around his head.
The second man was last seen wearing a black jumper, knee length grey pants and black and white shoes.
Police patrolled the area but were unable to locate the man.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.

About 10.30pm (Monday 28 November 2016) two employees were in the process of closing the York Road business when two men entered the store and jumped the counter.
One of the men was armed with a large machete and both began yelling at the two employees demanding money from the till.
The staff handed over the nights takings and the two men ran from the store.
Police were called and a crime scene was established.
Detectives from Penrith will continue the investigation and would like to speak with anyone who may have information that could assist.
