Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery yesterday at a restaurant in Haly Street, Kingaroy.
At around 9:50pm a man ran into the Kingaroy restaurant holding a large knife and demanded cash at the service counter.
The staff member fled into the kitchen and the man fled empty handed.
Police are seeking public assistance to identify the man described as caucasian and 188 cm tall.
Police are searching for three men following the armed robbery of a fast food store at Bentley Park last night.
About 8.20pm, three men entered the store with one man armed with a knife. They threatened three employees and demanded cash.
After receiving a sum of cash, the men ordered the employees into a walk in fridge then fled the store.
The men are described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. One man was wearing a red cap and no shirt. He was about 178cm tall and had a tattoo on his chest.
One man was wearing a black shirt pulled up over his head. He was about 165cm tall with a slim build.
Police have arrested three youths following an alleged armed robbery on a fast food restaurant in Frankston North earlier this morning.

Police are investigating two attempt aggravated robberies at Glenelg last night. About 11.10pm, a woman walked into the Subway store on Jetty Road and asked staff for money. When they refused she walked behind the counter and attempted to open the till. She struggled with a staff member before producing a pair of scissors. A passing witness intervened and the woman left empty handed. She was seen a short time later at Sussex and Augusta Streets in company with a man. About an hour earlier, a woman was walking with her sister near Glenelg Beach when a woman tried to grab the victim’s mobile phone. About 3.30am (Sunday 3 November, 2013), two men entered the Parramatta Road store armed with a knife.
The men threatened staff and demanded cash.
Both men then fled the scene with cash.
Police from Flemington Local area Command attended the scene and commenced investigation.
A crime scene was established with the attendance of Dog Squad staff who commenced a searched of the surrounding area.
Police wish to speak with two men they believe can assist with their investigation.
The first man is described as being 178cm tall wearing a red beanie, a light blue scarf or similar covering his face, a dark coloured long sleeve jumper, khaki or similar pants, black and white sneakers with a black logo on the back of the shoe, he was carrying a white plastic shopping bag.
The second man is described as wearing a dark coloured beanie a scarf covering his face and a green ‘fluoro’ shirt with black stripes with paint on the front; he was carrying a blue plastic shopping bag.

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at a pizza store in Sandgate last night.
At 9.35pm, two men, one armed with a knife, entered the Loudon Street business and made demands for money.
The pair left the premises empty-handed over a store attendant informed them he was going to call police.
It is believed the two men left the scene in a taxi.
No-one was physically injured.
One man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 175cm tall with a proportionate build, aged between 20-25 years of age, and has blond hair and blue eyes.
The second man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 170cm tall and aged between 20-25 years of age.
Investigations are continuing.
Police are searching for a man following this morning’s armed robbery of a fast food store at a shopping centre on Rochedale Road at Springwood.
About 1am, a man walked into the store armed with a golf club and pointed at the cash register.
The employee opened the register and the man removed a sum of cash and left the store. There were no injuries.
The man was wearing black clothes, black gloves and had a black cloth or scarf covering his face.

Launceston Detectives are investigating an Aggravated armed robbery committed at approximately 8:45pm on Sunday 20th October 2013 at the Pizza Hut store, Invermay Road, Mowbray.
Two offenders, believed to be one male and one female, aged in their late teens to early twenties, entered the store and brandished what are believed to have been homemade replica firearms. The offenders demanded money from a customer inside store and then fled the scene with a small amount of cash.
