Kallangur fast food store was robbed by a man believed to be armed with a gun this afternoon.
Around 2pm a man entered the Anzac Avenue store threatening staff and demanding money.
After receiving an amount of cash the man fled on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 170cm tall, 40 to 50-years-old and with a thin build. He was wearing jeans, a red shirt, sunglasses and a hat.
Police investigations are continuing.

The incident occurred in Acland Street around 4.30pm on Thursday 26 September.
Armed with a bar two offenders chased the victim from a fast food restaurant on the corner of Acland Street and the Esplanade, south along Acland Street towards Barkley Street.
The victim, a man aged in his late teens, sought refuge in a cake shop on Acland Street but the offenders followed him in.
The duo began assaulting him inside the cake shop before dragging him out onto busy Acland Street.
Once outside, two of the offenders have assaulted the boy, kicking, punching and striking him with the pole.
The two offenders fled north along Acland Street where it is believed a third offender was waiting.
The first man police wish to speak to was perceived to be of Mediterranean appearance, thin build and approximately 20 years old. He was clean shaven, had short dark hair and was wearing a black long-sleeved top that had Caterpillar branding on it and grey pants.
The second man police wish to speak to was perceived to be of Mediterranean appearance and approximately 20 years old. He had short brown coloured hair. He was wearing a yellow high visibility jacket, brown shorts and brownish coloured work boots.
The third man police wish to speak to had red or brown hair, was of medium height with a fair complexion. He was wearing a blue puffer vest, chequered shirt and cream chino pants.
Police have released the following images of men they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
Investigators are urging the three men involved to come forward and hand themselves in.
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Redcliffe coffee shop that occurred early this morning.
Around 4.45am, a man armed with a knife entered the Anzac Avenue store and made demands for money.
The male employee handed over a sum of money from the cash register, and the offender pushed the employee to the ground and kicked him several times before fleeing the store on foot.
The 26-year-old male employee sustained minor injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
Yesterday (October 5), ACT Policing arrested a 20-year-old Chisholm man following an aggravated robbery, after two members of the public restrained the offender until police arrived.
About 9.00pm the male entered the Ali Baba restaurant in Phillip with a blade concealed in his sleeve. He approached the counter and threatened a staff member, demanding cash. The staff member complied, handing over a sum of cash before the man exited the restaurant through the front door.
Two males, who had witnessed the aggravated robbery, then approached the offender. After a brief altercation, the two men restrained the offender until police arrived minutes later.
The offender was taken into police custody and transported to the ACT Watch House, where he was later charged with aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon.
The male will face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday October 7).
Criminal Investigations Detective Sergeant Bob Wynn said the actions of the two males assisted police in the arrest.
“While we certainly wouldn’t recommend any member of the public put themselves in harm’s way, these two men have shown extraordinary bravery by apprehending the offender and restraining him until police arrived.”
Police in Sydney’s south west are investigating the armed robbery of a Malaysian restaurant at Georges Hall.
Shortly after 9.30pm (Thursday 10 October 2013), two men entered the restaurant on Denman Road and threatened the employees with a firearm.
The pair demanded money before fleeing with an amount of cash.
No customers were inside the restaurant at the time and no one was injured.
Police were alerted and officers from Bankstown Local Area Command established a crime scene that will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
An extensive search of the area is being conducted with assistance from PolAir.
Detectives have commenced inquiries and are appealing for public assistance to identify and locate the men involved.
Both men are only described as being of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean appearance. One of the men was wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket and the other was wearing all dark clothing.
They were last seen heading west on Denman Road.
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in Fairfield East overnight.
About 10pm (Saturday 5 October 2013), two men entered the Fairfield Street outlet armed with a firearm.
The pair threatened staff members and demanded cash, before fleeing the location. They were last seen running south along Woodville Road.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police from Fairfield Local Area Command were called and launched an investigation.
A crime scene was established at the location and examined by specialist forensic officers.

Just before 8.30pm, a man wearing a bandanna and armed with a machete, robbed a pizza bar on Trinity Crescent.
The suspect fled on foot empty handed after the shopkeeper said he was calling police.
Two men from the shop gave chase on foot and attempted stop the suspect – but he managed to escape.
The suspect is described as being about Caucasian, about 170cm tall, slim build and wearing a black jumper and black track pants.
The suspect was seen to jump into a waiting silver Mazda sedan being driven by a second man.

ACT Policing has charged one man and a second man will be summonsed in relation to an aggravated robbery at the McDonalds restaurant in Dickson on Saturday 21 September 2013.
About 10.30pm, two males were seated in the outdoor area of the McDonalds restaurant in Dickson. They observed a 20-year-old male from Charnwood proceed through the drive-thru in a white Honda Prelude. A short time later the 20-year-old male approached the two males and verbally accosted them. The man then took a mobile phone from the victims and produced a blade, demanding cash. The two men surrendered a wrist watch to the man, who then fled.
A second male was also present during the aggravated robbery.
In the following week, police identified the two males believed to be involved in the aggravated robbery and later recovered the mobile phone that had been stolen.
The 20-year-old male from Charnwood was charged with aggravated robbery and will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (30 September 2013).
The second male will be summonsed to appear at court at a later date.
Investigations are under way into a robbery at a fast food shop at Helensvale last night.
Around 10.30pm two men entered the Sir John Overall Drive business and threatened the attendant with a knife demanding money.
After accessing the till the men ran off and were last seen heading towards Discovery Drive.
The male attendant was not physically harmed.
The first man is described as 185cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a light coloured hooded jumper, black jeans, a baseball cap and a bandanna.
The second man is described at 190cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a hooded jumper, a baseball cap and a bandanna.
