Two people were arrested after allegedly robbing a taxi driver at knifepoint at Elizabeth East overnight.

Police were called to Midway Road, near Spruance Road, Elizabeth East about 2.50am on Sunday 2 September by a taxi driver who reported two passengers had threatened him with a knife, stole money and ran off.

The driver was not physically injured.

Police searched the area and located the suspects in nearby Waldron Street.

A 38-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, both from Elizabeth Vale, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.  They were refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 3 September.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at an Unley business this afternoon.

About 12.30pm on Thursday, 23 August a man armed with a knife entered a service station on King William Road and threatened staff, before stealing cash and cigarettes and running away from the store. A male customer was also threatened inside the store, but no-one was injured.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, and was wearing a dark-coloured hooded jumper, a white baseball cap, sunglasses, blue jeans, blue Nike shoes and was carrying a black and white bag.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Seaford overnight.

About 12.45am on Saturday, 11 August three men entered a service station on Commercial Road and threatened staff, and then stole cigarettes and cash.

One of the men was armed with a knife.

The trio fled the scene, and no one was injured.

The suspects were all wearing hooded jumpers, and had covered their faces.

Three teens have been charged after allegedly stealing alcohol from an Exeter bottle shop this evening.

Just before 7.30pm Sunday 22 July police were called to the Semaphore Road business after reports three teen boys had entered a bottle shop and stolen several bottles of alcohol.

It is alleged one of the teens threatened staff with a bottle before leaving the premises on foot. Thankfully there were no physical injuries.

Police arrive quickly on scene and after a brief search located three boys at an address nearby where they were arrested.

Two 16-year-olds from Exeter and a 15-year-old from Murray Bridge have been charged with aggravated robbery. They were bailed to appear in court Thursday 23 August.

A woman has been arrested over a robbery in Adelaide last week.

Police will allege that about 2.45pm on Thursday 12 July, a woman stole items from a supermarket on Hutt Street. When she was confronted by staff members, she assaulted a male employee and then ran away.

Further investigations by Eastern District Criminal Investigation Branch detectives led to today’s arrest of an 18-year-old Brooklyn Park woman.

She was charged with aggravated robbery and was refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

About 8am on Friday 20 July a man entered the service station on Frances Terrace and threatened staff before demanding cash.

The suspect ran off with an amount of cash and was last seen running towards Digby Street. Thankfully there were no physical injuries and no weapons were sighted.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall with a slim build. He was tan pants, a black jacket with a white motif over the top of a grey hooded jumper, a grey cap and beige and white sneakers.

Police have arrested a man following an aggravated robbery at Kadina this morning.

About 8am on Friday 20 July a man entered the service station on Frances Terrace and allegedly threatened staff before demanding cash.

The suspect ran off with an amount of cash and was last seen running towards Digby Street.

No weapons were sighted and no one was injured.

As a result of investigations, Kadina police have arrested a man over the incident and he is currently being interviewed by police.

Police are searching for two men after they robbed a Parafield Gardens liquor store a short time ago.

Just after 10.30am on Wednesday 11 July, two entered a liquor store on Salisbury Highway, walked behind the counter, threatened the shop assistant and placed six bottles of liquor in a backpack and walked out the shop.

The two men described as Caucasian aged in their early 20’s, one wearing a yellow fluoro jacket and the other a red jacket.  CCTV cameras from the store captured images of the suspects.

No weapons were sighted with both men last seen walking south on Salisbury Highway.

Salisbury Police including a police dog searched the area but the suspects weren’t located.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a pizza restaurant at Angle Vale this evening.

About 8pm on Sunday 8 July, a man threatened staff with a machete at the restaurant on Heaslip Road, Angle Vale and made off with the till drawer.

Fortunately, the staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.

The suspect left in a silver or grey sedan and was last seen heading towards Curtis Road.  He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, with short black hair, a short black slightly scruffy beard, olive complexion, slim build and wearing dark clothing.

Detectives from Major Fraud have arrested a man and woman following a lengthy investigation.

It will be alleged late 2016 a man and woman committed fraud by dishonestly dealing with documents and laundering money relating to a deceased estate involving a significant amount of money.

Wednesday 4 July the man and woman were arrested and charged.

The 52-year-old man from Moonta was charged with dishonestly dealing with documents and aggravated theft while the 30-year-old woman also from Moonta was charged with theft and money laundering.

They have both been bailed to the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 27 November.
