Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at an Andrews Farm deli this evening.

Just before 7pm on Friday 29 June, one man entered a deli on President Avenue, Andrews Farm armed with a pole and a knife and threatened the attendant before leaving with cash.  A second man waited outside.

The staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.

The men were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas and ran from the store.

Police are searching the area for the suspects, with the assistance of Police Dog Jax.

Four teenagers have been arrested over a crime series in the western suburbs last night.

It will be alleged two males stole alcohol from a bottle shop at Findon about 5.40pm on Monday 18 June.

At 9.15pm, a man was punched to the face and had money stolen by a group of males in a silver Mitsubishi Lancer on Days Road, Ferryden Park.

About 9.50pm, a man was threatened by three males armed with axes on Second Avenue, Woodville Gardens.  He was not physically injured and the suspects left empty-handed.

At 10.10pm, a member of the public reported seeing a group of people wearing masks and carrying axes in Mallan Street, Findon.

Police searched the area and stopped a silver Mitsubishi Lancer on Grange Road, Findon, arresting the four occupants.

A 17-year-old Croydon Park boy, a 16-year-old Mansfield Park boy, and a 17-year-old Woodville Gardens boy were charged with robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, theft and carry offensive weapon.

A 17-year-old male youth from Royal Park boy was charged with carry offensive weapon.

All four were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 26 July.

Police have arrested a man over two aggravated robberies that occurred in the northern suburbs earlier this month.

Just after 12.30am on Monday 4 June, police were called to Gawler Street at Salisbury after three men allegedly threatened a taxi driver with a knife before stealing his takings and mobile phone. Thankfully the taxi driver was not physically injured.

About 4.15am on Friday 1 June, a man allegedly armed with a knife entered a service station on Salisbury Highway at Salisbury and threatened staff before stealing cash and running off.

The victim was not injured.

As a result of investigations, police were able to identify the suspect and arrested him at Brahma Lodge on Saturday (9 June). A nearby home was searched where police recovered the taxi driver’s stolen mobile phone.

A 22-year-old Salisbury North man was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and refused police bail. He appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday and is expected to appear again in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 24 August.

Police are investigating a robbery at a supermarket at Elizabeth East this evening.

Just after 7.30pm on Saturday 9 June, a man entered a supermarket on Midway Road allegedly armed with a machete. The man threatened staff before stealing an amount of cash and cigarettes and running from the store on foot. Thankfully there were no injuries to staff.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, large brown eyes, black hoodie with white logo, grey jeans, sneakers.

Patrols searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Ruger but have been unable to locate the suspect.

Police have charged a teenager following an alleged armed robbery at a jewellery store in Mill Park last year.

The alleged incident occurred at a McDonalds Rd shopping centre on 14 March 2017.

A 17-year-old male from Koo Wee Rup was arrested yesterday (12 June) in Dandenong.

He was charged with armed robbery and has been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

Three others were charged and processed last year in relation to the alleged incident:

A 25-year-old Stawell woman charged with handle stolen goods;

A 27-year-old Stawell man charged with armed robbery; and

A 29-year-old Greensborough man charged with armed robbery.

The investigation remains ongoing and police are still looking for two other males.

Banyule Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released footage as part of their investigation into an armed robbery in Preston last night.

It is alleged four males attended the Victoria Street milk bar and jumped the counter shortly after 9pm.

Staff have fought back and managed to restrain one of males, a 17-year-old boy, until police arrived.

The three other males fled the scene.

Two staff members were injured – a 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries and a 31-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor facial injuries.

The Reservoir teenager has been charged with armed robbery, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury, and unlawful assault.

He will appear at a children’s court at a later date.

Investigators have today released CCTV and images of three males who may be able to assist police with their enquiries.

 

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Morwell last weekend.

Investigators have been told a man armed with a handgun entered a fast food restaurant on Princes Drive and demanded money from the tills about 12.10am on Saturday 2 June.

The victim, a 26-year-old woman from Morwell, handed over a sum of cash and the offender fled the scene on foot.

The offender, who covered his face with ski googles and a scarf, was last seen heading north on Princes Drive.

The man, who was also wearing a black hooded jumper with yellow trim around the hood, is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance and about 170-180cm with a thin build.

Detectives have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The victim had picked up the three offenders from the CBD and travelled to Salisbury as they had requested before he had been robbed. The men were last seen walking south on Gawler Street.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the men at this time and investigations are continuing.

The suspects are described as all in their mid-20s, one was of Middle Eastern appearance and wearing a black long sleeve top, tan pants and black shoes. The second man was Caucasian, grey top, shorts, black shoes, baseball cap and carrying a pink cooler bag. The third man was Caucasian wearing a black hoodie with a grey stripe across the chest and white pants.
