Police are still seeking information about an Armed Robbery committed at the Chigwell Discount Pharmacy, 2/2 Allunga Rd, CHIGWELL on Saturday 30 November 2013, at around 10:00am.
At this time a man entered the business brandishing a knife.
He has been described as being about 180cm tall, slim build wearing a light navy blue hooded top and green ‘washing up’ type gloves.
The offender fled the area in possession of a quantity of cash.
No one suffered any physical injury.
Launceston CIB detectives have charged a 22-year-old Launceston man with the armed robbery of the Wellington Street Newsagency on 21 November 2013.
He is the second person charged relating to this robbery.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions at 4pm Today, Thursday 5 December 2013.
On Monday 2 December 2013 LauncestonCIBcharged a 21 year old Summerhill man in relation to the armed robbery of the Wellington Street Newsagency on 21 November 2013.
He was also charged in relation to the burglaries of 13 businesses and houses in Launceston, Evandale and Longford between 15 October 2013 and 1 December 2013.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jonathan Higgins said that the man was identified and linked to the burglaries and robbery after a lengthy investigation by members of LauncestonCIB.
The 21 year old was remanded in custody and will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 4pm today.

Around 10:00am on Saturday 30 November 2013 one male offender has entered the business brandishing a knife.
The male offender has been described as being about 180 cm tall, slim build wearing a light navy blue hooded top and green ‘washing up’ type gloves.
The offender fled the area in possession of a quantity of cash.
No persons suffered any physical injury.
Detectives from Hobart CIB are appealing for witnesses to an incident which occurred at a North Hobart Pharmacy on Elizabeth Street last night.
At approximately 6.25pm an unidentified man entered the Pharmacy, pulled his hood over his head and face, walked to the medications counter, produced a pair of white handled scissors and made threatening demands.
Upon being told that his actions would be on camera, the offender turned and ran from the store empty handed.
The assistant and Pharmacist were unharmed during the incident.
The offender is described as a male of slim to medium build, aged between 25 and 35 years. He was wearing a grey top over a black hooded top, grey tracksuit pants with two white stripes down each leg and sunglasses with large blue shiny lenses.
While the picture does not show the offenders face it is hoped that someone may recognise him from the time of the incident or the physical description.

Launceston Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Wellington News and Lotto, Wellington Street, Launceston at 5:50pm on 21 November 2013.
An unknown male has entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from an employee. An amount of cash was removed before the male fled the scene in the company of another male.
Both males have fled across the southern outlet overpass at the end of Thistle Street. They were seen in the Keane Street, Glen Due Street area at around 5:55pm.
The male offender who entered the store is described as 175cm tall, medium build, black track pants, black hooded top, wearing sneakers, bandana covering face.
The second male is described as 160cm tall, medium build, dark brown curly hair, clean shaven, 16 -17yrs, dark clothing.
Launceston Detectives are investigating an Aggravated armed robbery committed at approximately 8:45pm on Sunday 20th October 2013 at the Pizza Hut store, Invermay Road, Mowbray.
Two offenders, believed to be one male and one female, aged in their late teens to early twenties, entered the store and brandished what are believed to have been homemade replica firearms. The offenders demanded money from a customer inside store and then fled the scene with a small amount of cash.
On Tuesday 1 October 2013 Launceston CIB charged an 18 year old woman from Newstead with aggravated armed robbery relating to her part in the robbery at the St Helens BP Service Station in the early hours of Monday 23 September 2013.
She was also charged with two counts of motor vehicle stealing relating to vehicles stolen in Launceston on Friday 20 September 2013 and Sunday 23 September 2013 and used to drive to St Helens on both occasions, later being dumped in Newstead and Waverley.
The woman will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court in November 2013.
A 41 year old Hobart man was today charged at the Hobart Police Station with one count of armed robbery.
“The charge has resulted after thorough investigations by Hobart CIB Detectives following the armed robbery at the Lenah Valley Food Market in Augusta Road, Lenah Valley, on Monday 9September 2013. During the incident the shop keeper was confronted with a man holding a knife who demanded money,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Joel.
“Incidents like this create fear in the community and police will continue to dedicate all resources into resolving these crimes, charging those reponsible and allaying community fears,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Joel.
“Tasmania Police would like to thank the local community for their assistance in providing information which helped find the offender,” he said.
The man has been bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Monday 23 September 2013 at approximately 2am an Armed Robbery occurred at the 24 hour BP service Station at St Helens. The BP Service Station is situated in Circassian Street.
An unknown female offender approached the glass front door and the attendant opened the door remotely, a male offender then ran across the forecourt and into the store. Both offenders had their faces covered by clothing. The female then remained at the glass door while the male offender who was holding what appeared to be a firearm approached the attendant and demanded money.
The small amount of cash that was in the cash register was handed to the offender and they both left the scene on foot.
Local police attended the scene and a search was conducted. Forensic Police from Launceston also attended. Northern Criminal Investigation Police are attending the scene this morning and enquiries are continuing.
No one was injuried in relation to this incident.
