Victoria Police is investigating two armed robberies which occurred this morning in Sunshine West and Derrimut.

Police have been told a man armed with a firearm forced entry to a factory in North View Drive, Sunshine West around 5am this morning.

The man confronted an employee at the factory and discharged the firearm towards her, causing minor injuries to her arm.

Police have attended at the premises and were confronted by the armed man who was holding the woman.

The man kept the woman with him whilst making his way towards a motorbike which was parked at the front of the property.

He has then let the woman go and left on the motorbike towards Somerville Road at a fast rate of speed.

The police immediately provided assistance to the woman and did not follow the armed man.

The woman has been conveyed to hospital for treatment.

The man did not steal anything from this property.

A short time later, around 5.25am, police received a call to a second armed robbery at a take-away food store on the corner of Mt Derrimut Road and Paramount Boulevard in Derrimut.

Police have been told the same man entered the store and threatened the female employee with the firearm before stealing a quantity of cash from the register.

The man is then believed to have left the area on the same motorbike.

The female employee was conveyed to hospital for observation and treatment for shock.

The armed offender is described as male, approximately 6 foot tall, solid build, wearing dark clothing and a full face helmet.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late yesterday afternoon in Molendinar.

Initial investigations indicate that around 5.15pm, two men entered a business on Kamholtz Court. One of the men has lifted his shirt showing  what was believed to be a firearm and stated that they were taking a vehicle that was located at the business.

Without opposition from the man, the two men then pushed the vehicle out of the business and onto the back of a tow truck and left the scene.

The tow truck is described as being white with a black tray, and the vehicle taken is yellow coloured with no registration plates.

Police have charged two men following the armed robbery of an adult store at East Bundaberg last night.

It will be alleged around 8.30pm two men entered the Princess Street store armed with knives and a tyre lever before demanding cash from a male employee.

The staff member complied with their demands and fled the scene with a sum of cash.

Police arrested two men in a nearby street a short time later.

A 30-year-old East Bundaberg  man and a 35-year-old Bundaberg West man were both charged with one count of armed robbery.

They are due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a business on Flockton Street Everton Park today.

Around 12.30am a man entered the business armed with a small axe, grabbed a till then ran away.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police investigations are continuing.

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a business on Kingston Road, Logan Central.

Around 10.20pm a man approached a store attendant produced a knife and demanded cash.

The man ran from the store with a quantity of cash.

The attendant was not physically injured during the incident and police investigations continue.

Police are seeking witnesses to an attempted armed robbery of a Wellington Road business last night.

At around 9.50pm a man entered the Virginia store, produced a knife and demanded cash.

The man ran from the store and into a white Holden utility without obtaining any cash.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident and police investigations continue.

Elizabeth police are investigating an armed robbery earlier tonight where a man wielding a knife robbed a take-away shop at Elizabeth East.

Just before 8pm, a man armed with a knife, threatened staff at the shop on Spruance Road stealing cash from the till.

The male suspect who fled on foot is described as about 35-years-old with black hair, wearing dark clothing and had a beanie pulled down partially covering his face.

There were no injuries.

ACT Policing has released a face-fit of a man they believe is responsible for five aggravated robberies from earlier this year.

Since April there have been five armed robberies with similar descriptions of the offender and modus operandi, causing Detectives from Criminal Investigations to look at one person being responsible.

The man is described as being Pacific Islander/Maori in appearance, approximately 183cm (6’) tall, with a solid build and an accent.

Police have released CCTV images and are re-appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at East Maitland earlier this month.
About 2pm on Tuesday 5 August 2014, a 26-year-old cash-in-transit officer parked his van in the Green Hills shopping centre car park.
When he got out of his van he was threatened by a man with a gun who forced him back into the vehicle and to drive to the other end of the car park.
The van stopped and the man stole cash before running from the area.
The victim hit the duress alarm and officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command attended.
No one was injured during the incident.
Local police conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area; however the man was not found. A  crime scene was established and examined by forensic specialists.Central Hunter detectives investigating the incident would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries
The man has been described as having tanned skin and wearing a plain black hooded jumper with the hood up and big black glasses
Police have also released CCTV images of a vehicle of interest. The vehicle has been described as being a dark-coloured Holden Commodore sedan.
Anyone who has information about the vehicle of interest, or who knows the man’s identity, is urged to come forward.
