June 26, 2011 – Glassing – Night Club – Fortitude Valley

Police have charged a 27-year-old man after an incident at a night club on Ann Street in Fortitude Valley overnight.

Around 12.15am an altercation occurred between several men resulting in a 21-year-old Morningside man receiving a glassing injury to his forehead.

The man was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment to the laceration.

The 27-year-old man from Nathan has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and public nuisance. He is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Investigations are continuing
