September 20, 2011- Update – Arrest – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Dural

Police have arrested a woman following the robbery of a service station in Sydney’s north-west this morning (Tuesday 20 September 2011.

About 8.20am, police were called to the service station on Old Northern Road, Dural, following reports a woman had allegedly threatened staff with a knife before escaping with a number of items.

 A police operation was launched to locate the woman, involving officers from Eastwood and The Hills Local Area Commands, PolAir and the Dog Unit

 Just after 12.30pm, a woman was arrested on nearby Newline Road.

 She has been taken to Castle Hill Police Station where she is assisting police with their inquiries.
