Police have arrested a second suspect over the Coopers Ale House break-in overnight.

A 17-year-old teenager was arrested earlier this morning after police found him leaving the hotel allegedly in possession of alcohol belonging to the hotel.

Tobacco products were also stolen but were not located at the time of the arrest.

After further investigation, police searched a home on Carrington Street and allegedly located the remainder of the hotel’s stolen property including tobacco products.

More property suspected of being stolen from elsewhere was seized and enquiries will continue in relation to this.

The 2nd man arrested is a 43-year-old from Adelaide.

He is currently being interviewed by police and is expected to be charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.

The teenager’s charges have been upgraded from serious criminal trespass and theft to aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.
