Police have charged a 30-year-old man in relation to the alleged armed robbery of a surf club in Surfers Paradise on September 25, 2011.
It is alleged during the incident a man entered the Garfield Terrace business just after 11pm and produced a knife before obtaining a sum of cash.
No one was injured during the alleged incident.
Following thorough police investigations the man was located by police yesterday at an address at Ipswich.
He has been charged with armed robbery and will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
