Police have charged two boys after an armed robbery in Sydney’s west yesterday morning.

About 5.50am (Sunday 8 January 2012), a 21-year-old man was working at a service station on the corner of Hamilton Road and The Boulevarde, Fairfield Heights, when three males entered the store.

The males were handed a sum of cash and ran from the scene. Police from Fairfield LAC and the dog squad attended.

The dog squad tracked two young persons to Maud Street, Fairfield West, where they were arrested.

They were taken to Fairfield Police Station and charged with armed robbery.
