24 January 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Chevron Island

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a business on Chevron Island last night.
Just after 7.30pm, a man entered the bottle shop on Thomas Drive.
He threatened the attendant with a knife before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.
He was last seen running north along Burra Street.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 190cm tall with a solid build and wearing a black long sleeve jumper, dark pants with white stripes down the side, black shoes and a balaclava.
Police investigations are continuing.
