Police are looking for a man who used a knife to rob a bakery at Mudgeeraba this morning.

Around 10.45am a man armed with a knife waited for a customer to leave before entering the Robert Street business through the front security sliding doors. He then made demands for money from the shop attendant.

He obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the till before fleeing the scene.

The man is described as being aged in his mid 20’s, around 186cm tall, skinny build with a round, slightly pointy face, and scruffy looking but was shaven.

He was wearing a long sleeved yellow fluorescent tradie-style shirt with print on the back believed to start with an ‘A’, light brown beanie with the writing “Wild Turkey” on the back in darker writing and red wrap around sunglasses with curved lenses.
