Police are searching for three men following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south west earlier this morning (Thursday 2 August 2012).

About 2am, three partially-masked men entered the pub on Broomfield Street, Cabramatta where they threatened staff and demanded cash.

It is believed two were holding firearms, while the third was in possession of a baseball bat.

Hotel employees complied before the trio fled the scene.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Officers attached to Cabramatta Local Area Command attended a short time later and established a crime scene.

Forensic examinations and a canvass of the surrounding area are continuing.

The public is advised not to approach the three men if sighted, but to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.

The first man is described as being about 175cm tall, of solid build, and was wearing a dark grey hooded jumper with black trackpants and white runners. At the time of the incident, he was also carrying a red and black coloured sports bag with white trimming on the inside.

The second man is also described as being about 175cm tall and of solid build. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black trackpants with buttons and white stripes down each leg, and white runners. At the time, he was also carrying a white bag.

The third man is also described as about 175cm tall and solidly-built. He was wearing a grey short-sleeved jumper with light blue text on the back, and a long-sleeved black top underneath, light blue cargo pants, white socks and white runners.
