Police are renewing their appeal for public assistance in relation to the armed robbery of a Wynnum North convenience store on September 30.

A comfit image of a man was released earlier, however police are now issuing a still image of a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.

Around 3.30pm a man armed with a knife entered the Selina Street store and threatened a female attendant. The woman ran towards the back of the store when the man grabbed her and continued to threaten her with the knife.

Another employee within the store opened the cash register and handed the offender a sum of cash.

The man was last seen on foot heading towards Wynnum North Road.

The attendant sustained grazes to her arm and neck as a result of this incident.

The man is described as being about 180cm tall, of a proportionate build with dark brown hair.
