Police in Sydney’s south-west are hunting two men and a woman following a bottle shop robbery at Canley Vale.
The men entered the Lansdowne Road business shortly before 7pm (Friday 19 October 2012) and threatened two women working inside.
One of the women was ordered to the ground, while the other was forced into a cool room at the back of the store.
The offenders stole a sum of cash from a register, as well as expensive jewellery and a mobile phone belonging to one of the victims.
The men then fled the scene on foot along with a woman, described only as being of Asian appearance, who had been keeping watch outside.
Police from Cabramatta Local Area Command responded to the incident. A crime scene was secured and examined by forensics officers.
Neither victim was injured in the incident but both were left shaken.
Police have been told one of the men was of Asian appearance, while the other was wearing a mask. It’s not believed they were armed at the time of the robbery.
Local detectives are appealing for public help as they try to identify and locate those responsible.
