Major Fraud Squad officers have charged a 47 year old Erskine man with a number of

stealing offences after he allegedly misappropriated funds at a Fremantle company that he

was employed by.

It will be alleged that between August 2010 and October 2010, the man was employed as a

manager in a Fremantle seafood company. Over this period of time, he cancelled an

estimated 500 sales orders over 40 individual work days, totalling over $27,000. The funds

were then transferred for his personal use.

The man has been charged with 40 x Stealing as a Servant and will appear before the

Fremantle Magistrates Court on 15 July 2011.
