Police are appealing for information from the public following an alleged robbery in the state’s north.

About 8.20pm yesterday (Monday 11 July 2011), an 18-year-old pizza delivery driver was approached by two men as he tried to deliver pizzas in Perry Drive, Coffs Harbour.

It will be alleged two men demanded money from the driver with one of them being armed with a knife.

The driver gave them his bag containing an amount of cash and ran away.

The two men left and were last seen running towards Mackays Road.

Police were called and a canvass of the area was conducted, however the two men could not be located.

Police are searching for two men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The men have both been described as wearing dark clothing and having their faces covered.
