Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Forest Lake bottleshop last night, during which an employee was threatened with a hammer.
Initial information suggests just after 8pm, a man entered the Forest Lake Boulevard shop and threatened the 23-year-old male attendant while demanding money.
The man subsequently fled the scene with a sum of cash.
The attendant was not physically injured during the incident.
The offender is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 183cms tall and of proportionate build.
He was wearing a grey jumper, black pants, black shoes, a black beanie and had a blue bandana across his face.
Police have released the following image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
